Tibetan Buddhist Mani Lhakor
This is a traditional Tibetan Buddhist prayer wheel. It is made of copper and brass, ornamented with the 8 Auspicious Symbols and the Sanskrit mantra Om Mani Padme Hung. Inside the wheel is a scroll with this same mantra written hundreds of times. You can hold the wheel with the wooden handle and rotate it clockwise with a slight motion of the wrist to spin the prayers out into the universe. Made in Nepal. Measures approximately 3 inches by 10 inches.
